It’s that time again and I’m excited to share what we’ve been up to.
- Nimble went to Dusseldorf last week.
- We’re looking to finalise and approve the packaging designs with the manufacturer over the next week.
- The factory is currently closed for a national holiday so production is on pause (we were aware this was going to happen).
- Nimble is famous in Taiwan.
Read on for the full lowdown.
Nimble’s Trip to Dusseldorf
Last week we were exhibiting at Rehacare in Dusseldorf, a huge trade show all about products that help disabled people. As Nimble is so easy to use and can be used with just one finger it is perfect for people with hand disabilities as well as everyone else. For this reason we were keen to show it off and get people’s thoughts on the new design.
We wrote a blog post for every day of our trip, with the last one due out soon. You can read them over on our blog here.
Below is a video showing the sheer size of the exhibition halls at the show… and there were 7 of them!
Our aim for the rest of this week and some of next week is to fully finish the design of Nimble’s packaging and send the final designs over to the factory. We had some (quite pricey) samples mocked up so we could see what the final thing will look like and we were over the moon! Here’s a pic in case you missed our last update…

Our Factory Is On Holiday
Our factory is away on a national holiday at the moment and have been since last week so preparations for T2 development of Nimble have been put on hold. We were aware of this holiday so nothing has been delayed but it does mean another week of waiting to get moving *twiddles thumbs*.
This holiday is the reason we’ve chosen this time to get the packaging finalised. That and we’re going to be wanting to start manufacture of the packaging soon which is very exciting!
Nimble Is Famous In Taiwan!
I nice surprise a few weeks ago was finding out that a Taiwanese news network had picked up on Nimble and decided to feature a video of it in action over on their Facebook page.
Since they went public this video has been viewed over 1.6 million times! You can view it here.
That’s All Folks!
That’s all for this week’s update. If you’ve got any thoughts or questions please share them in the comments below. I’m sure if you’re thinking it other people are too!
Other than that be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date with the day to day stuff.
